Roy Laverick

Now largely retired, I’ve worked in IT for over 30 years, both in London (with the Bank of England) and with various overseas banks in Africa, Asia and Europe.  In recent years I’ve also built up a small video business, specialising in wedding coverage.

I have a diverse range of interests which include playing squash and bridge, vegetable growing (being a periodic prize winner at the Dedham Horticultural Society show) and cycling (some of you may have seen me puffing round the neighbourhood on my mountain bike!).

I have been able to employ some of my IT skills for the benefit of the Council, including enhanced facilities for the Parish Clerk and the design and implementation of this website.  I have a particular interest in footpaths, and I am also the Parish Emergency Co-ordinator.
