I am a retired Local Government Officer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and Management Services. My wife and I have lived in Dedham since 1997 having moved here from Kent.

I currently chair the Planning Sub-Committee having an interest in the social, economic and environmental future of the parish, particularly as the village is located in a Conservation Area and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

My hobbies (when Parish Council work allows) are bell ringing, reading, bird watching, gardening and of course the grandchildren!
