I was born in Dedham and have lived here all my life.  Now retired, I worked for

Paxman Diesels in Colchester, starting as an apprentice before moving to the Planning Office as a Planning Engineer/jig and tool draughtsman. I am a member of the DDHS and the Dedham Footpath Group, my main interests are palaeontology (fossils), all aspects of geology, walking and gardening. Some of you may have seen me walking the local footpaths and I have occasionally been a cup winner at the Flower Shows.
